OCP upgrade steps for Cloudera Data Services on premises
Learn about the process for upgrading Cloudera Data Services on premises that requires coordinating updates with the corresponding OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) version upgrades.
All upgrades to 1.5.5 SP2 must use a minimum version of OpenShift Container Platform 4.16. Intermediate OCP versions are tested with existing workloads, but Cloudera recommends selecting a supported OCP version for a given data services release based on the Cloudera Support Matrix.

Perform validations on all data services to verify that the new and preexisting data and workloads continue to function properly.
